I’m Amara and I’m here to share how I’ve found my first 6 months as a live camgirl.

I started my journey into webcamming in January 2024, having lost my job following a probation period.

On the same day as losing my job, I was also supposed to do my annual re-registration in my profession.

I decided against that, having been working almost six years in my career and ultimately unhappy.

Being creative, likely neurodivergent and with a rebellious side I could not exercise in my career, the corporate world just did not suit me.

I played with the idea of switching to another career and industry and even upskilled to apply for other roles. This will sound familiar to a lot of people.

After a period of applying and knowing that I could not pretend to care anymore, I decided against going back into an office environment.

I was so certain it would not work for me and would do anything to avoid going back.

Needs must so I started doing newspaper rounds to cover the bills immediately.

In terms of longer term work, I knew I needed something that fulfilled the wild side that has always been there.

I began looking into adult entertainment and went on Tiktok to look for information about becoming a stripper. I was keen to hear from black women in the industry, and what works for them.

Reaching out

Someone caught my eye on Tiktok so I messaged her for advice. She was kind enough to reach out send me some information.

The info led me to a site called ‘Laptastic’ which is a lapdancing agency.

It is there I saw an affiliate company ‘LVE Models.’

I had heard about webcam modelling at a younger age. The ability to work for myself from home were the first things that struck a chord with me.

This was the very type of opportunity I had been looking for. After doing research, I saw that LVE Models offer mentoring and no prior experience was needed.

Things I love

I have a good laugh with a lot of customers. Having fun makes camming more worthwile and helps motivate me on days were I’m not feeling best.

A huge learning curve in how to overcome hurdles and practice patience, as camming takes a lot of that.

I’m enjoying caring for myself, getting up with a purpose and making myself up. Having to look good on cam forces me make the effort, so I feel good about about my appearance each day.

I’ve also really enjoyed challenging myself by adding content creation to my bow.

I set up an X account so I’m pushing my content through social media and building my following there.

High times

Winning the $500 bonus prize in a competition for gaining the most followers between March – April! This has been my greatest moment so far!

Most recently I  had a supporter request a Lovense toy wishlist!  The additional toys have really boosted my streams.

This came at a really good time and my goal going forward is to push my targets further with this.

I have already had the opportunity to fulfill some of my goals through webcamming. Being able to pick my location, take time for myself and become a lot happier, all these things for the win!

I am also able to be flexible with my hours and choose when I work. This works really well as I have other interests and like getting involved in other projects.

I  find camming to be the most liberating job I’ve ever done. I’ve absolutely loved my first 6 months as a live camgirl and I look forward to continuing on this journey.

Amara’s top tips for new camgirls

  • Practice patience and consistency. Camming, like anything, only works well if you’re consistent.
  • Try different times of the day, different outfits, personas and positions to work out what fits you best. 
  • Take regular breaks if you find you cannot work longer sessions. Camming can be draining. It affects the outcome when energy is depleted.
  • Have hobbies and other things going on outside of cam, so you look forward to working on cam.
  • Camming allows you to be who you want to be, so nurture that authenticity and be proud of it.

Want to know how to be the best you on cam? I’m here to help you make that happen!

Cam modelling is one of those professions where it’s success is dependent on the mindset of the individual.

My job as Cam Model Mentor often involves the soul searching of others to help them identify what’s up.

I’m always happy to share my advice and empathy. The adult entertainment industry is a difficult industry to work in and I’m on your side all the way!

As a like-minded female here I know first hand there are always barriers to overcome physically, emotionally and psychologically when you work on cam.

Ticking along on all those elements week after week requires continual self-management.

Many models find their mood elevator is up and down, or they feel confident one day and no so the next. Other models are fire for a while then things will suddenly fizzle and they lose their mojo.

Many factors affect the mood on cam. There are always things going on in the personal life that can affect how positive the mindset is for actually getting online and putting the time in.

All of these things are completely normal and you’re not alone. I am not shy to tell you I have had many ups and downs in all my years of camming.

Even times I’ve had to take a few weeks or months out to reset. So never feel bad for dropping away and focussing on YOU.

If you’re feeling lost, demotivated, burnt out or lacking desire and want to reinstate your mojo; follow these tips to help get back on track.

You will choose your day to be the best you on cam! And I will help you make it happen!

Be the best you on cam

  • Decide which day you will start working on yourself to be the best you on cam. If you choose the day allows you complete contro of your schedule, it’s all on your terms.
  • Tell yourself you will wake up that day and make it day the best day of your life. Affirm that out loud, write it down, mark it in the diary.

Tip: Plan your day for when you know you’ll be feeling well. Avoid days where you’re premenstrual, on period, or hungover.

  • Schedule in an early night the night before so you can sleep sufficiently and feel rested.
  • Wake up on the day and smile, do some stretches in bed, be mindful. Tell yourself you feel great! Today is going to be your best ever day!
  • Have a nice breakfast, ideally something healthy. Fruit, eggs, yoghurt, a non-sugared cereal, whatever you enjoy. Get some vitamin-C into your body as this ie very important. I recommend fresh fruit juice, berries or tomatoes.
  • Dress dependent on the climate to go outside and move around in the fresh air. Walk the dog if you have one, drop of the kids at their daycare/school if you have them, and go for a walk afterwards.

Top Tip: Even just 30 minutes of light exercise outdoors in the morning is so beneficial. It promotes a positive mindset and a general feeling of wellbeing.

Alternatively, you may like to go to the gym or do another form or workout that makes you feel fab.

  • Keep affirming to yourself that today is set to be your best ever day, and that you feel positive. Continually reaffirming this is good programming for the mindset to keep you on track.
  • Think through some ideas of what you would enjoy doing on cam. Have a look through your outfits and toys, feel excited about all your potential. You’re going to kill it on cam today!

I’ll share some inspiration for shows at the bottom of this article, if you need any.

  • Keep working on your positive vibe. Talk kindly to yourself and remind yourself that you’re beautiful and awesome. Be excited about working on cam! There will be many great members looking forward to seeing you!
  • Pick out an outfit that resonates with your vibe, and decide on the kind of show/s you’d like to present. Make firm decisions as this is assertive and reassuring.
  • Go through all the technical setup things and make sure your vibrator toys are popped on to charge. This article will help you work through all the things you need to check before going on cam, so you’ll feel well prepared.   • Put on some uplifting music and get ready! Remind yourself you’re an absolute stunner and you’re about to smash it on cam!

Today is the best day of your life and your badass vibe is manifesting abundance! You will have a tonne of fun and gain a heap of new fans with your sparkling positive attitude!

Sing along, chat to yourself while you get dressed and do your makeup. It might sound crazy but it really helps get into the flow!

  • Getting ready takes as long as it takes so please don’t feel under pressure. These things are best done in an environment where you feel relaxed and in harmony with everything surrounding you.

Why not light some scented candles, rearrange your room, get some nibbles or something nice to drink?

Make feel like getting ready for a nice day or night out and you will enjoy the process!

  • Now you’re in the best possible mindset to be the best you on cam! Happy, energised, with good energy all around you. You know you’re about to have the most incredible session on cam. What a buzz!
  • Need extra time to do your nails, or pop a quick call to a friend? No worries! Do what you need to do. You need to feel 100% prepared and happy that all the little jobs are out of the way. This helps declutter the mind.
  • Look in the mirror and smile at your reflection. What a beauty! You look your absolute best, and that is going to come across online. Your fans will appreciate the effort you’ve gone to and you’ll get a tonne of complements. Compliments boost confidence and make you even happier on cam!
  • Log into the site and set up your shows, tip features and anything else you would like to promote. Connect any interactive toys and put any props and things like dildos within reach.
  • Now it’s time to take the stage and say hi to your crowd! They’re delighted to see you and keen to help you be the best you on cam. Be excited to see them too.

Greet your audience with your lovely smile, tell them you’ve missed them. Let them know how excited you are about the shows you’ve planned and tell them what they have to look forward to.

Top Tip: Give a little tutorial and point out where guys can find things like tip menus. This helps new members and provides a call to action to get the ball rolling. Do this every so often when you’re online. Once per hour is sufficient.

Things to check before going live

Every new cam model needs a list of things to check before going live. Follow my guide and you’ll be ready to kill it on cam!

Practical things to check

  • Completed your profile setup? – Add your bio, stats, settings, rates, tip features, profile images and payout info. Start only when all of this is done and approved!
  • Room tidy? – Be well-organised and clutter-free. A nice looking room will make you appear professional and it is pleasing on the eyes to the viewers.
  • Set up for best framing? – Great camera view is important. You want to show off your most flattering angles. Set up your work station and angle the webcam so you can look directly into it. This enables you to connect your audience with eye contact and encourages interaction from them.
  • Clear of any distractions? Make sure any pets in the house are fed and watered. Deal with anything else that might otherwise disturb you if not taken care of. Eliminate any annoying background noise.
  • Music playlists ready? – You’ll need music to help create an atmosphere. Use a speaker if you have one, but do not have the music too loud. Your viewers will want to listen to your voice moreso than your music.
  • Toys out and placed in reach? – Get everything you’ll need for cam shows out and ready. Ensure toys are sanitised and powered up. Vibrating toys need enough charge for the session. Having props within reach will avoid you having to scrabble looking for things.
  • Heels and stockings in reach? – Stiletto shoes, boots or stockings are common requests, have these to hand.
  • Snacks and a drink handy? – Keep a drink and snack beside you. This reduces the inconvenience of having to disrupt stream to pop to the kitchen.
  • Did you do enough reading and research? – You need to brief yourself on how to be a cam model to make a solid start. Read the articles on this blog and be informed. I am here to help!

Tech things to check

  • Set up lighting sufficiently? – Room must be well lit with even lighting.
  • Restarted laptop/desktop and run through updates/scans? – Do this to minimise risk of running slow and stream lag issues.
  • If running on ethernet, have you switched off wifi setting on laptop? – You can do this in the network and internet settings. Allow machine to run solely via ethernet cable and not have the wifi interfere with hardwired connection. This is for best continuity of stream.
  • Installed correct browser? – Some cam sites have specific browsers optimised for use with. Check which browser you need as other browsers may not be able to support all of the features of the site you’re working on.
  • Run speed test? – Ideally you’ll have done one prior to signing up and checked minimum upload speed requirements. If it falls short you need to communicate with your site’s tech team. You may also need to speak with your internet provider.
  • Shut down any other browsers, software or applications that might interfere? – When you’re camming, shut everything else unrelated on your laptop down including anything that runs scans in the background. This is so as not to cause unnecessary slowing down of the machine.
  • Selected right camera in broadcast settings? – This is how you present the best quality picture on cam. If the camera you’ve plugged in is not showing in the settings, plug it in again. Refresh your screen, log out and in again, then look again.

Personal things to check before going live

  • Right mindframe to work on cam? – You want to be rested, happy, positive, excited and keen to do this! If not, you will resent being online and won’t make money.
  • Feel physically well? – If under the weather with any health or wellbeing issue, wait until you recover. If you do not, you risk starting on a negative spiral and won’t give it your best energy.
  • Wearing something you feel comfortable and sexy in? – Try on different outfits. Go with the one that makes you feel most confident! If you have a favourite lingerie set or something new, this will help you start strong!
  • Done makeup? – Heavy makeup not essential. A little light work on the face to prevent shiny skin and accentuate your best features will make you look and feel confident online.
  • Taken care of personal grooming? – This includes styling your hair, doing your nails, shaving/waxing legs/armpits/ladybits. Lack of attention to these things leads to self-consciousness.
  • What are your camming goals for today? – Self-motivation check! Be sure to have clear in your mind your motives, goals, income target and visions of your success. It is your commitment and consistency to being on cam that will help you achieve all your heart desires!

Remind yourself daily that your potential on cam is unlimited! You got this!

Try not to take any negativity personally. Occasionally people are not nice on cam sites but the problem is them, not you.

Try restyling your cam environment, improving your lighting and webcam, all these things are important for models and their rooms to look professional.

Mindset always has to be positive or you won’t make money!

Even when there’s not much going on I try not to slip into any negative thoughts and emotions. I remind myself to keep smiling and pushing.

Sometimes I take a little break to collect myself and get my positive mood back on track. I dance, listen to music or go for a walk.

I love to do breath work as this is known to calm the nervous system and raise the vibration.

I recommend breath work to all cam models. Especially if you feel nervous or struggle with low moods or lack of motivation. There are lots of breathwork tutorials on YouTube.

It is good to sell Snapchat on your profile because it is extra income.

You can use it to tell your followers when you go online. Tell them about new content you sell, with a link to buy.

My advice is do not give your Snapchat away for free or sell it too cheap. You will end up attracting the wrong type of followers.

I tried this and had to answer messages, deal with demands, requests to be girlfriend, and things like that. All from guys who have no money to tip.

These guys would also watch my snaps every week and send me dick pics. This was irritating so I removed all these guys.

I have since increased my price significantly for Snapchat. Now only serious guys who spend money will purchase. Much better!

Your webcam success hinges on some essential character traits. Here I explain what these are and why they matter.

As an established presence in the industry, LVE Models are never short of aspiring models approaching in the quest for cam model success.

Where we differ from most agencies who play a numbers game, is we do not chase commission at the cost of the individual.

We do not sign just anyone, without considering whether they are suited to the work or not.

LVE Models look for a certain type of model and we are stringent with our interview process.

We do this because our experience tells us that only a certain type of model will be successful. And, it is not all about how they look in application photos.

Becoming a profitable cam model is 80% character and mental capacity to do the work. Only 20% is how the individual looks.

Your webcam success hinges on the right outlook and approach. We look for the following character traits in all applicants:

1. Attitude

First and foremost, a great attitude is required. This includes a likeable nature and a positive view on cam modelling as a whole.

A bad attitude results in a poor approach to the work. It also has a repelling effect on the guys who are most likely to spend the money.

In every case we refuse to take on candidates who do not possess a positive, personable attitude when we interview them.

2. Discipline

The ability to self-discipline is essential. This means to get online and work the required hours in order to make money and build the following.

Lack of self-discipline and flakiness never results in success.

Success is all about consistency, which comes only from the disciplined individuals.

We ask the following questions and make clear:

How serious are you about cam modelling?

How willing and able are you to commit and persist every week?

There is no overnight success in camming. It is a long game to become successful.

3. Motivation

How capable are you to self-motivate? Self-motivation links back to the discipline element.

Remind yourself continually of your motives to work, i.e. why you want to be successful on cam, because this is the driving force.

Lack of self-motivation often comes and goes in cam models, due to the industry peaks and troughs.

There are lucrative sessions and slow sessions. Good weeks and bad weeks.

Models should never take this personally as it is the same for all, even those at the high end.

The ability to stay motivated through thick and thin is paramount in order to be successful on cam.

We help models with motivation as part of our support group, however the willingness needs to be there to start with.

4. Resilience

Resilience goes hand in hand with motivation and discipline. This is the power to push through, no matter what!

The resilient, successful models will grind out the hours, focussed on their income target or goals, whether busy or slow online.

During our interview process we give all candidates a reality check. We lay on the line what is expected of them.

We take an ethical approach, vetting candidates for suitability and checking they are mentally in a good place to do the work.

Our experience tells us that models who have significant barriers to working on cam, will by default not be successful on cam.

This is purely because they will not get on and work the required hours to be successful.

These might be physical or mental barriers, or to do with family or relationships.

We turn many applicants away based on the fact they either don’t possess what we require, or we feel the industry will have negative bearing on their mental welfare or home life.

Some we send away armed with information to consider, and leave it down to them to decide if it is right for them.

Advice for all cam models on how to get noticed on cam.

Speaking as a time-served successful cam model, I know first hand how competitive this industry is.

With thousands of new cam models signing up every week, the industry is over-subscribed and always will be.

This is why for many new models, it is hard to get noticed. The vast majority will never be successful as they do not know what they need to do to stand out in the masses.

The bigger, famous brand name networks have the capacity to display thousands of performers online at any one given moment.

Thousands of models online and granted, thousands of members online, too.

However not all members will make cam models’ time profitable.

Getting noticed by those who have the spending power, is always the challenge amidst the abundance of options they have.

Every cam model must therefore understand they are one of a thousand or more options. These options are camgirls the tipping members will choose who they wish to spend money on, (or not).

I hereby offer my top three tips on how to get noticed on cam (and be that favoured option to make bank)!

#1 CREATE YOUR NICHE

You take a look around the site and there are tonnes of gorgeous girls. You’re gorgeous too, but do you stand out? What makes you unique versus the next model?

To make it as a successful cam model you need a strong identity. This can be a style, a vibe, a look, a particular type of show you do better than anyone else.

Put some thought into who YOU are as a performer. What feels best suited to your physical appearance and personality?

Dress in a manner with fabrics and colours you can make your trademark style. Are you rocking it in black lace, latex/fetish, roleplay costume, luxury lingerie, beach babe bikinis, classy cocktail dresses, stripper style neons?

Think about the way you speak, your expressions, the way you move around on cam. Does this feel genuine and easy to keep consistent through your shows?

Emphasize your assets and strengths. Do you have a skill you can show off? Dancing, flexibility, gymnastics, singing, ASMR, story telling. Fetish or domination chat or acts with props, porn star shows such as squirting, deep throat or hardcore. These all popular on cam.

#2 BE IN THEIR FACE

To experience very quickly how to get noticed on cam, make a point of being available, often.

You can’t be a successful cam model by just popping on for an hour here and there. You have to put the time in.

This means working to a schedule so members learn when to expect you, and being consistent. Put in proper sessions, 3-6 hours or more hours at a time.

There are always going to be models with better work ethic, grinding out the hours even when it’s slow.

Guess what? These resilient, persistent girls are the ones who are successful. You’ll find they have mega following and usually make mega payouts.

Be literally in the face of all of the members, reminding them continually that you are there. This is how your presence becomes known and you become established as a cam model.

If you don’t have full time hours available, it is not a problem. You can still become successful as a part-timer.

I became very successful working part time, just 16-20 hours a week on cam. I was consistent every week, working to a schedule.

I put exceptional quality into my presentation and shows, which made an impact and attracted the tipping members.

#3 BE THE BEST MODEL ONLINE

So you have a niche, and a schedule. Exellent work!

Those two things alone are not the complete solution.

The next thing you need to do is focus on the quality.

Quality means making every aspect appealing in order to encourage members to spend money.

Pay close attention to and make improvements to your:

Physical appearance – make the outfit, hair, makeup all on point.

Attitude – make this positive, engaging, fun, sexy and personable.

Room – have this well lit, decorated and clutter-free because this is what is most appealing to the eyes to the viewers.

Equipment – make sure your laptop, cam, audio, stream quality is on point. A poor quality or low definition stream never does well versus other models’ streams that are consistent and high definition.

Effort – approach every stream with good energy and enthusiasm. If the energy output is flat, so will the results be.

What to do when it’s dead online

Models often ask me for advice on what to do when it’s dead online. Here are some tricks to help your chat room pick up when the site is slow.

We are entering a time of year where cam sites are notoriously slow. Year on year cam sites across the board see a downturn in traffic over the summer months.

Members head on out to enjoy fair weather and light evenings, family gatherings, gradulation parties, summer vacations and school holidays.

I always reassure our models that this is normal and not to take it personally if their regular spenders are around less often.

Many models are demotivated as they struggle to make the same weekly figures they made in March through May.

During these times it’s all about managing expecations learning to be content with lower average hourly rates.

The grind

On the big live stream sites, there are thousands of cam models online at any one time, hustling for business.

There are also still hundreds of newbies joining cam sites every week, all with big money aspirations.

For established cam models, these slow times are a frustrating slog with fierce competition from their established peers.

They also have the issue of the new girls up and coming, and guys who normally spend money keen to try out the “fresh pussy.”

Members love choice, as this is what cam sites are all about. All cam models have to get their head around this.

The models who are smart will not let this get them down. Instead, they up their game.

Try new things to encourage greater earning potential and attract new spenders.

For the new models, summer can be a tough time to join. They might be just one slow chat room amongst thousands of others. Cam sites are a numbers game.

Such models need to focus on building their following in the early days. I understand the need to make enough money to maintain motivation, but there is no overnight success in cam modelling.

Many join sites expecting it to be instant easy money, but in reality its not like that. The rewards of patience and persistence online may not be realised until 6, 12 or even 18 months down the line.

Experience tells me

As an experienced cam model I know first hand how demotivating it can feel when there’s not much going on. I’ve had online hours SO tedious that I’d rather stick pins in my eyes than be stuck talking to a bunch of zombies who don’t respond.

Now this is an important bit of field research here: I noticed that the more fed up I felt and the flatter my energy levels became, the slower my room got.

As difficult as it is to stay enthusiastic when it’s dead online, the absolute last thing a cam model should do is let her energy slump.

Looking bored, irritated, scrolling through the phone, sitting/laying in a lazy manner will do nothing more than encourage viewers to mirror the same energy.

As a result, they leave the room or become more complacent and less inclined to interact.

What to do when it’s dead online

Energy attracts energy of the same frequency, so up-tempo your vibe and kick-start your viewers into action!

Body language

Be aware of this and keep it positive and approachable. Switch up the body positions from sitting to laying, move around in the camera view to display movement and stay energised.

Keep the facial expressions interested, smile and be sexy. All of this gives the illusion the room is busy even when its quiet. It also encourages anybody popping in for a look to stick around rather than click out uninspired, a few seconds later.

Stay chatty

So nobody’s talking back, who cares! Chat anyway! Learning to be comfortable with talking to oneself is a really valuable skill to learn as a camgirl.

Chat about anything. What you did at the weekend, what music you’re listning to, how much you love your new sex toy. Any topic that’s engaging and fun for the viewers is good for keeping their attention.

You can even make stuff up for jaw-dropping effect or comedy if your mind works in cheeky ways! Nobody will know whether it’s your real life or not.

Be showy

Do something fun or crazy to grab members’ attention and make them feel more inclined to interact. Here are some ideas:

  1. Melt ice on your butt/cleavage, talk about how warm it is and ask if they’d love to see a naughty show with ice.
  2. Do a squats workout, ass to camera, in some hot pants or yoga pants. This sets pulses races!
  3. Eat a banana seductively, or some strawberries or grapes. Ask your audience if they’re into food play.
  4. Rub your feet over a dildo and talk about how much you love foot massages.
  5. Show your sex toys and talk about them, share some experiences.
  6. Rub oil/lotion on your body. You don’t need to strip. Wear a bikini to spark their imagination.
  7. Do a hot fashion show, trying on different outfits and asking for their feedback.
  8. Do sexy stretching, splits, headstands or anything else athletic if you’re a fit girl.
  9. Do something articstic like drawing if this is your thing, or play a card trick/game.
  10. Do some preening – curl your hair, paint your nails, do a pedi etc.

Stay sparkly

Whatever happens, keep that sparkle as this makes potential tippers warm up, rather than go cold and leave.

Personality is what usually wins fans over on cam sites. Make you cam persona appealing and maintain a consistent good attitude no matter how slow or busy.

A cam model with a persona that sparkles always stands out versus those who do not know how to be personable or engaging.

Learn how to manage the slow days on cam in order to stay disciplined, motivated and focussed on your goals.

All cam models, whatever their level of experience, may find some days online seem more arduous than others.

Live stream cam sites can vary dramatically in volumes and patterns of traffic and every site has its typical peak and off peak hours. With models working in different timezones, not all are able to be online during the peak hours. Because of this, they may feel the site is ‘slow.’

The key to staying resilient and pushing through this is learning how to manage slow days.

I will say that despite the peak and off peak patterns, any site with high traffic (which is most of the live stream sites) will have thousands of users online 24/7. For this reason there is always the potential to make money no matter what time you log on.

For maximal potential to make money no matter what time you’re online, the power is entirely in your hands. Here’s what you need to do:

CREATE ENERGY

Members will feed of your energy. Bear in mind if there are people in your room who are not bringing value, they will often be reciprocating your energy.

Always remember that energy attracts the same type of energy.

First and foremost: create a spectacular vibe. Put out good energy this will make people warm up and feel more inclined to bring value to your day. You can start by creating a pleasant atmosphere with background music.

Dance and shake your butt, movement helps prevent the atmosphere feeling flat.

Keep body language and body positions open and receptive. Smile and be appreciative of your viewers’ presence.

BE INTERACTIVE

If you find viewers are not talking back, work harder to get them being interactive. Up your game with the chat.

Try to directly engage them by usernames and break the ice with small talk. Ask how their day is, where they’re from.

You’ll need to master the art of chatting to yourself. Get busy doing your nails or taking selfies to upload to your followers on social media with a shoutout that you’re online. Talk through what you’re doing.

Chat about your tipping options, on-sale media, Snapchat subscriptions and anything else you can promote.

Chit chat as though you’re talking to an imaginary friend. Nobody knows who you’re talking to, and this trick is often a game-changer as it keeps you appearing occupied!

The psychology behind this is: you’re actively engaging a person (be it a real person or not) and this makes others want your attention. They will want to be a part of your session if they see you’re interesting and fun to chat with.

Don’t let potential tippers step into your room and see staring down at your phone or looking fed up. They will find this boring, and leave.

Make your chat patter a regular habit and all of a sudden one or more people start to interact back, and interaction leads to tipping and private shows.

BE POSITIVE

The onus is on you to be positive and don’t let the traffic lulls be a problem for you. Always be of the mindset that slow times won’t last providing you work hard to make your room busier.

Be constantly mindful of your vibe and think how you can up your game. Work hard to be the stand-out model online.

Stay optimistic with a good attitude, every hour will bring different members logging on. One slow hour does not mean the next one has to be.

STAY FOCUSSED

Never lose site of your goals, even when it feels like you’re flogging a dead horse online.

Remind yourself you’re there to work and you will get the very best out of your sessions providing you bring good energy, work hard to be interactive and display positivity.

Do affirmations, write your goals down, DO IT ANYWAY! The best way to self-discipline, self-motivate and stay focussed is by giving your cam session a purpose.

Your goals are your reason to stay online and complete your scheduled hours. They are your motivation to keep your hustle game strong.

You never know who is about to step into your chat room and love your amazing vibe. He could be your next big tipper or long term regular!

If you slip into a negative vibe or log off, he will never get the chance to connect with you.

TAKE A BREAK AND RE-ENERGISE

Sometimes a break is all that’s needed. If you’ve been online a couple of hours and find your efforts seem in vain, take a break.

Go for a walk, do a workout, meditate, listen to music, read a book, bake a cake, do some visualisations and goal setting. Do whatever makes you feel energised and positive.

When you log back on you will feel fresh again and it will likely be a whole different crowd. Tell them what you’ve been up to just now, ask them how their day is going. Notice the shift in energy and be appreciative for their receptiveness.

MIX IT UP

If after trying all of the above it is still stagnant in your chat room, give yourself complete overhaul. Try something new with a change in shows, tipping options, outfit or personal styling.

If you have cam model friends, bounce ideas off them. If you have a mentor or coach, as them for guidance. A good coach will assist you with ways you can encourage greater interaction and tipping.

It can often be of benefit switching up the hours. Going online at a different time to your usual time means you can meet a whole different crowd. You can gain new followers and expand your presence online.
